It is just unbelievable when I think about years of my schooling in GRD. I just didn't get to know how those wonderful ten years of my schooling passed. Now that I am in college . I think that collage. I think that college life is great fun but school life is great fun but school life had its own charm.

In GRD the experience of growing in the lovely atmosphere under the tender care of our loving teachers from a little child to a young girl was absolutely great. GRD made me meet many wonderful teachers and friends who made a big difference in my life.

When we started our session in class XII which was our last year in school we had the most amazing time. We had the best of teachers with us, Learning with them, Living with them, Loving them and getting their love, greeting them with a smile, Sharing their problems-it was so different-so homely.

GRD to me was always a Second Home. The different activities which were made a part of our education like tours and treks, picnics, theme parties like the pajama party, swimming, trips to factories, a villages, university etc. made us believe that GRD is actually a "School with a Difference".

Now that we are no longer studying in the school, we realize its importance. When early in the morning I have  to look and wait for my driver or request my Dad to drop me to the college.....I miss my school bus. Then the uncomfortable benches of my college make me miss the well ventilaled and spacious class rooms. While sitting in the canteen too I miss the hygienic and nutritious food of our school mess. So in some way or the other, throughout the day our School is on my mind.

I look forward to my visit book to the school they keep me aware of my roots.  I am proud to be a GRDian. I would like to thank all my teachers for their constant guidance, love and care. All of them mean a lot to me and I miss them a lot!
